Dublin West TD and Minister for Social Protection Leo Varadkar has welcomed Emergency Works funding for three schools in Dublin 15.
St Patricks National School, Diswellstown Road; Coolmine Community School, Clonsilla; and Blakestown Community School, Blanchardstown, have been granted funding under the Emergency Works scheme.
Each school is being contacted directly by the Department of Education’s School Building Unit with details on the relevant projects and the funding amounts awarded.
“This funding will allow essential improvements to be made at the three schools this year. It continues the significant investment that Fine Gael has made in schools, education and services in Dublin 15, to match the needs of the growing community. We are determined that our recovering economy should benefit everyone in society by promoting an enterprise economy, making work pay, ensuring fair pay and a fair go for everyone.”
